Dr. Cichon is a passionate advocate for increased quality care standards as it relates to healthcare. She has impressive academic and clinical experience. She received her educational training from Washington University (St. Louis) and received undergraduate degrees in both Spanish and Biochemistry. In 2011 Dr. Cichon graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry and Neurology Residency and was board certified in 2015.

Dr. Cichon practiced rural medicine in West Virginia in underserved area, providing inpatient/outpatient/consultation and community mental health services. She was closely involved in monitoring of high risk pregnancies with comorbid psychiatric disorders and substance abuse treatment.

As someone raised in Las Vegas who went to the Meadows School, Dr. Cichon moved home after her father's death to be closer to family. Her current professional activities include a mix of inpatient and outpatient work in a variety of settings (ALF, SNF, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient). She is a certified trauma specialist, ABIME, IAIME and CIR certified. She has a special interest in women’s mental health issues including hormonal changes as related to mood disorders, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. She recently became dual board certified in Brain Injury Medicine. As an expert, she offers neuropsychiatric testing for TBI, personality disorders, treatment plans for treatment resistant depression, IME/DME evaluations, case and record review.
