Psychiatric expert witness services

TBI- and PTSD-subspecialty psychiatric expert witness work for civil litigation, personal injury, and workers’ compensation matters. Approximately 30 depositions and trials since 2022 across Nevada state and federal courts and the Wyoming Workers’ Compensation Division — retained by both plaintiff and defense.

Engagement model

Dr. Cichon accepts retentions from plaintiff counsel, defense counsel, workers’ compensation carriers and divisions, and the courts directly. She is a regular contractor for IME West on TBI/PTSD defense cases in California and Nevada.

Engagements include initial chart and record review, deposition or trial-ready written report, deposition testimony, and trial testimony where required. Daubert / Sargon-aware methodology with explicit reference to peer-reviewed literature where the opinion warrants it.

Telemedicine and in-person availability

Depositions and case consultations are routinely conducted via telemedicine across all coverage states. Trial testimony and examinations are offered in-person across Nevada and via telemedicine in California, Utah, Arizona, and Wyoming. In-person travel to California is available for substantial matters.
