Services — Workers’ comp psychiatric IME
Workers’ compensation psychiatric IMEs
Psychiatric Independent Medical Examinations for workers’ compensation carriers, the Nevada Division of Industrial Relations, employers, and applicant counsel. Subspecialty TBI and PTSD focus, with NIRSAT and AAEME impairment-rating certifications.
Nevada panel and impairment-rating credentials
Dr. Cichon is on the Nevada Panel of Treating Physicians and Chiropractors (NRS 616C.090) and is certified for permanent partial disability (PPD) impairment ratings in Nevada (NIRSAT 86%, certified 2022). She is ABIME 6th-Edition certified and AAEME 5th-Edition Guides certified, including the AAEME stress module.
Her psychiatric subspecialty board certification in Brain Injury Medicine (ABPN 2022, certificate #227) gives the WC community a uniquely credentialed option for the psychiatric component of head injury claims — one of only two such providers in Nevada.

Multi-state coverage
In addition to Nevada, Dr. Cichon is licensed to perform workers’ compensation psychiatric IMEs in:
- Wyoming — including via consulting arrangement with Tri-State Medical Legal for Wyoming Workers’ Compensation evaluations. Wyoming statute (Wyo. Stat. § 27-14-102(a)(xi)(J)) specifically requires psychiatric diagnoses on WC mental injury claims to come from a licensed psychiatrist or clinical psychologist.
- Utah — via telemedicine, occasional cases
- Arizona — via telemedicine; A.R.S. § 23-1026 explicitly authorizes telehealth IMEs with consent of both parties
Note on California: Dr. Cichon is California-licensed but is not a California QME and does not perform California workers’ compensation IMEs. California civil and personal injury psychiatric work is offered separately — see personal injury IMEs and expert witness services.
Report structure
Reports address the questions WC adjusters and case managers actually need answered: causation in the context of the industrial event, diagnosis under DSM-5-TR, MMI status, work capacity and restrictions, apportionment between pre-existing and industrial contribution, recommended treatment, and (where applicable) impairment ratings under AMA Guides. Reports are deposition-ready.
Engagement
We do not accept insurance — workers’ compensation engagements are billed to the carrier or self-insured employer. Examinations are typically scheduled within two weeks of intake.
Contact the practice with the carrier name, claim number, date of injury, body parts in dispute, and the specific psychiatric questions you need addressed.
